school work and another hair do

We got a lot done today, Aurora did all her school work, and I was able to fold and put away about 5 loads of laundry (LOL) and made the verse templates along with normal day stuff. I love productive days and that I am finally feeling good enough to have productive days without suffering for them.

This is how I did Aurora's hair today, (it was inspired by this blog) pretty quick and easy and looked cute. It's still wet in the picture. Her ringlets are better once they are dry.
(pre-hair do, LOL) working on her worksheet. Apparently with her left hand at the moment i took the picture. These were free printables I found on Pinterest a while ago ( here is the link to them) I think they are pretty fun.
Finished with her worksheets, her Bible verses and her Bible stories, now she can color for a bit while I take care of her baby brother...
A side view of her hair...

here is my goofy girl yesterday showing off her hair do. It's basically a french braid hair band

healthy ice cream

This is nothing new, I didn't invent it and would have never thought of it. Banana's aren't my favorite fruit so not someone I would have come up with.
My hubby and daughter, however, love banana's so I thought i would give it a go, and I was pretty curious to see what it was like.
cute bananas. I did all but 2 of this bunch, although Aurora was snacking while I was cutting them.

 froze the slices
blend with cocoa powder, vanilla, a little milk and a teensy bit of of half and half
Put in little bowls and put some chocolate sauce on just to make it yummier

 eat
Oh, and here's is Aurora's hairstyle today. She's been a little rambunctious so we went for something quick and easy

hair dos

I found this great blog via Pinterest full of hair styles for little girls. Some of them we can't do yet because Aurora's hair isn't thick enough yet (her girls were a bit older). Unfortunately the blog hasn't been updated in serveral years. I am guessing that her girls grew up and no longer had the patience or as teenagers were just "too cool" LOL :) But the blog is still FULL of ideas and hundreds of posts.

Here are a few hairstyles we've tried. Most are ideas from the blog Piggies 'N Ponies
.

 without and with the flower...
This one i kind of screwed up and didn't divide the middle tiny ponie into two, I've done this one a lot of times since and it's a lot cuter if you divide it (half going into one messy bun the other into the other bun) but I only took a picture the time i messed up.
